Microsoft is currently working on a significant update to Windows 10 called the Anniversary Update. Due out this summer, the update will bring many new and improved features to Microsoft's current flagship OS. One of those features coming with the Windows 10 Anniversary Update is Messaging Everywhere, which we're now getting our first look at.

Here's an early looks at Messaging Everywhere for Windows 10 EWHbrJz

Messaging Everywhere is a nifty new tool that will enable Windows 10 users to send text messages from their PCs natively. The feature will first support Windows 10 Messaging and eventually support Android smartphones as well. Zac Bowden over at WinBeta got a chance to try out the beta version of Messaging Everywhere and was nice enough to offer up a video of the new feature in-use. Bowden uses a Windows 10 Mobile device and a future release version of Windows 10 to demonstrate Messaging Everywhere in action.

As you'll see in the video above, the Messaging Everywhere feature seems to work very well in beta form. Messages are synced between devices almost instantaneously so you should be able to carry on a text-based conversation from your PC and move to a phone without missing a beat. Should you want to keep a longer history of synced messages, the beta currently allows for the option to show messages from the last month, year or forever. Users will also have the option to sync their Windows 10 PC with multiple mobile devices and choose which device to send messages through via a drop-down menu.
